ICAO 052 AERODROME CONTROL
This course is designed to provide training for participants who have completed ICAO 051 and unqualified ATC personnel to licensing standard. The training on Aerodrome Control course is combination of theoretical training and practical simulation / applications in ATC simulator. The simulator training introduces students to the practical aspects of aerodrome control by using 3D aerodrome control simulator. On successful completion of the course, the participant will have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to undertake On Job Training at an aerodrome control unit under the supervision of a licensed ATCO for the issue of an ATC license or continue to the next phase of ATC Training ICAO 053.

Course prerequisites
- hold a General Secondary Certificate or equivalent foreign certificate with a pass result of not less than 70%; and
- demonstrate fluency in the English language to IELTS 5.5 or above in order to satisfy the requirements of ICAO English Language Level 4; and
- hold an approved ICAO 051 ATC Assistant/Basic Induction course certificate; and
- hold a second class (2) medical certificate as prescribed by the authority regulation.
